SECOND VOLUME OF ‘TIMELESS CONCERT IMAGES’ BOOK BY ROCK PHOTOGRAPHER BILL O’LEARY RELEASED
Photographer Bill O’Leary is back with a second volume of vintage photos of some of rock’s biggest names, entitled Timeless Concert Images II: And 40 Years of Concert Experiences. Released on November 30th, the 176-page book is priced at $35.99, and features vintage photographs of some of rock’s biggest names (50 artists in all) - King Diamond, Venom, Testament, Whitesnake, Johnny Winter, etc.
Once more, Bill has assembled not just a collection of his best images from his archives but has also included his own memories behind each concert and artist - almost all of which are in full color. And Timeless Concert Images II covers the stylistic gamut (hard rock, thrash metal, prog rock, new wave, southern rock, jam bands, etc.).
As a result, Timeless Concert Images II is the only book to feature awesome photos of King Diamond from July 1987, the B-52’s from November 1980, Venom from April 1986, U.K. from October 1979, and Col. Bruce Hampton & the Aquarium Rescue Unit from November 1992! Also featured are two forewords - penned by original Overkill drummer Rat Skates and Jag Panzer/Satan’s Host/Three Tremors singer Harry “The Tyrant” Conklin.
Bill O'Leary spent much of the '70s and '80s in front of the stage at rock concerts shooting photos that appeared in Rolling Stone, Creem, Guitar Player, and many other major publications. Back then, there weren't as many restrictions on concert photography, like the "first three songs" rule that is standard today (after the first three songs, photogs have to put down their cameras), and the proof is in the pages.
Despite the bar set high with the earlier Timeless Concert Images (which ink19.com praised as including “Some of the best images of classic rock I’ve seen. You weren’t there, but you can pretend you were”), Timeless Concert Images II does not disappoint - see for yourself!

"Metal From Hell", the legendary debut album of the U.S. heavy metal cult act SATAN'S HOST, which except guitar virtuoso Patrick Evil, features JAG PANZER and TITAN FORCE singer Harry Conklin (a.k.a. Leviathan Thisiren), will be reissued by Skol Records. This "ultimate reissue" will not only include "Metal From Hell" tracks remastered from the original tapes for the first time ever, but also six tracks from the mystical "unreleased album" from 1987, titled "Midnight Wind". Skol Records' CD, which will be limited to only 666 copies, will include deluxe booklet with many previously unseen photos, original artworks of both "Metal From Hell" and "Midnight Wind", and all lyrics. The album will be released on April 25 and will have its official premiere at the Keep It True festival in Germany (which is co-headlined by JAG PANZER).

The US Satanic Heavy Metal titans SATAN'S HOST are among us again - and with their 11th full-length studio recording titled "Virgin Sails", which should surely make us feel pumped up and excited, right dear folks? SATAN'S HOST's previous album, "By The Hands Of Devil", was throughout a superb release from these loyal disciples of Satan, so undoubtedly our sincere expectations have been running pretty darn high regarding the band's next release, which happens to be this brand-new 10-track affair from them, "Virgin Sails". It must be said ever since Harry Conklin (aka Leviathan Thisiren) rejoined the band in 2010, it feels like a whole new era has started for SATAN'S HOST; an era in which the band seems to be on fire better and stronger than ever before. As good as "By The Hands Of Devil" was - much thanks to Harry's very inspirational and effective vocal performance on that recording (which more than obviously also fed the band's inner flame for a better performance material wise overall), "Virgin Sails" takes a few more extra steps forward in terms of songwriting maturity and execution of new ideas. On "Virgin Sails", SATAN'S HOST do what they can do best - and that's to combine some certain elements seamlessly from Heavy Metal, Power Metal, Thrash Metal, Death Metal and Black Metal seamlessly and very enjoyable way. SATAN'S HOST have that specific ability to mix different Metal genres such an extraordinary convincing and pleasing way, without sounding fake - just no matter if you would hear them for the very first time, and having no idea their whole band history at all. What "Virgin Sails" is basically all about, it's first and foremost about top-notch musicianship, which is a result of years and years of musical experience, to believe your own work - and sheer determination to achieve some certain goals, without giving up no matter if some low points of your career may have tried to kick the shit out of you. SATAN'S HOST have surely been baptized in their own purgatory - and it really shows when listening to their latest album. Satan's Host has been booted off the Up the Hammers festival which is to take place first weekend of March 2012 in Athens Greece. According to the promoter, Satan's Host canceled, Satan's Host was 100% committed to perform, but due to issues the promoter has, he has made the decision to drop us. We have a strong following in Greece and hope that our Legions know that it was not Satan's Host that cancelled. We hope to see our Greek Legions soon.

Colorado Satanic Metal Masters Satan's Host will be releasing "CELEBRATION For the Love of Satan" on Nov. 22 US/ Nov. 21 World, via Moribund Cult Records. The new disc is a compilation of 2 new songs and songs from each album that spans the career of the band, except from earlier 2011 release "By the Hands of the Devil" to commemorate the 25th anniversary of the release of the cult classic and debut album "Metal from Hell". The new disc was once again recorded with Producer Dave Otero at Flatline Audio in Denver Colorado and has exclusive artwork by world renown artists Chris Moyen and Joe Petagno, and photography by Brent Boutte of Mirrorlife productions. Satan's Host recently resigned with Moribund Records for another 2 album deal with exclusive options. July 18, 2011- SATAN'S HOST commences production on CELEBRATION album.
Satan's Host enters Flatline Audio today to commence production on "CELEBRATION For the Love of Satan". Once again super Metal producer Dave Otero takes the helm and will spearhead the project. The band will be recording two new tracks and will be tapping into the catalog and revamping some classics with Leviathan singing them. Production should wrap up mid august with a Nov. 2011 release via Moribund Cult records.

June 30, 2011- SATAN'S HOST To Record 'Celebration Album'
Satanic metal warlords SATAN'S HOST will enter Flatline Studios on July 18 with producer Dave Otero (CEPHALIC CARNAGE, COBALT) to begin recording a "celebration album" to commemorate the 25th anniversary of the band's debut LP, the cult classic "Metal From Hell". The as-yet-untitled compilation will contain a few new songs and revamped versions of classic tunes that span the band's career, with returned original vocalist Leviathan Thisiren (a.k.a. Harry Conklin of JAG PANZER and TITAN FORCE) offering his unique take on the songs. Tracks set to appear on the CD include brand-new songs "For The Love Of Satan" and "Conviction", the title cut to "Metal From Hell", "Witches Return", "Nightside Of Eden", "H.E.L.L.", "Dark Priest (Lord Ahriman)", and the title track to "Satanic Grimoire". A November release via Moribund Records is expected.

SATAN'S HOST Talk New Album and A Return To The Roots Of Hell

Founded in 1977, Denver's Satan's Host is one of those band's that has ebbed and flowed with the changing metal scene. Originally labeled a power metal band, then later a black metal band, they prefer to think of themselves as simply metal. No other label need apply.
Originating guitarist and mainstay composer Patrick Evil has composed another album of dark and grisly metal for fans. The band also see their long missed vocalist, Harry "Leviathan Thisiren" Conklin (Jag Panzer), return to the fold. As always Anthony "Evil Hobbit" Lopez (Torrid Flesh) man's the skins, while the band welcomes thunderous new bassist, Margar.
The new album, By The Hands of the Devil is a ten song opus that leads the listener on a satanic journey through the depths of the underworld. Conklin's shrill vocals are reminiscent of those of the band's influences, such as Dickinson or even a young Halford, which counters Evil's fast hand guitar work. This album marks a return to more of the metal style they were known for in their early years.
Metalholic recently sat down with Conklin and Lopez to talk about By The Hands of the Devil. Just from talking to these guys, it is evident that they are extremely passionate about not just the band that they helped make successful, but heavy metal itself. They talked about the changing music industry, Satanism, Atheism and Christianity and the evolution of the band. The album is in stores now, so make sure you go out and buy yourself a copy today.

July 28, 2010- Satan's Host Enters Flatline Audio for recording of new album
Satan's Host will be entering Flatline Audio with super producer Dave Otero for their 5 venture together, and the Host's 9 full length album today. Previously reported before the name of the effort was to be "Revival...The Seven Towers of Satan", but now has changed and will be revealed soon. The album is slated to be over the 60 Min mark and is reported to be venturing into new dark realms the band has never touched before, plus still have the familiar Satan's Host touch that Patrick Evil effortless is able to produce. With the return of Leviathan to vocals, it is almost a cross of Metal From Hell with the relentless power of PPP...999, an Evil feast for the ears and intellect.

Satan's Host would like to extend our most deepest condolences to Wendy Dio, Heaven & Hell, the Dio band, and all of Ronnie's family. Ronnie was a big influence on the band since the early days and beyond. He has a legacy with all the groups and solo career that most others will never come close to having. We will truly miss Ronnie, he is the original Rainbow in the Dark.
April 27, 2010- Satan's Host Returns from Europe
We returned from the Keep It True XIII Festival Sunday April 25 with a electrifying performance under our belt. New fan video's of performances are posted here on our site plus on YouTube. Get out your party hats! Vocalist Leviathan Thisiren -- Harry Conklin on all legal documents -- has returned to the Satan's Host fold. Thisiren, who also handles vocals for Colorado power metallions Jag Panzer, is rejoining the band for good. "This is going to be a permanent arrangement," the metallically-named guitarist and founder Patrick Evil told Noisecreep. "We wanted to do this for many years, and the timing was right. We never wanted to do 'just a reunion.' We wanted to do 'a revival' and finish what we started many years ago!"
Furthermore, P. Evil said, "Now, Satan's Host can reach deeper into the masses and bring a truly dark element so many bands lack. Together, as we set these flames burning, we want to take the music to where no one has been before: adrift into the unknown, to forge new paths for others to follow."

March 26, 2010- Club Inferno Update
Satan's Host show @ Club Inferno, will commence at 9pm with Nox Sanctorum, and Seventh Sin right after. Black Horizon Plague had to pull out of the show due to complications. Satan's Host should be hitting the stage @ around 11pm. $10 at the door or $7 with a flyer, admission gains access to most areas in the club.

January 30, 2010- Assault of Evil...666 DVD, SHOWS
Satan's Host welcomes back Leviathan Thisiren (Harry Conklin- Jag Panzer/Titan Force) back into the Grotto. The group has upcoming appearances on March 27 @ Club Inferno @ PT's in Denver, Colorado; and at the Keep It True festival in Koenigshofen, Germany on April 23. Due to the large cult following of the 1986 debut album "Metal From Hell" and 1987 bootlegged unreleased "Midnight Wind", virtuoso Guitarist and founder Patrick Evil states "the idea for a reunion with Harry has been building up for a number of years, I felt that this was the right time to go ahead with it, Me and Harry have felt that we had unfinished business to attend to, and we're heading full force!". Along with drummer Anthony Lopez and bassist Margar, the group has been in preproduction on the upcoming release featuring Harry on vocals on Moribund Cult Records tentivly due summer/fall 2010. The band is going into Flatline Studio with super producer Dave Otero (Cephalic Carnage, Martriden) in July.
"Power~Purity~Perfection...999" which was released via Moribund Cult in Oct 09 and helmed by Dave Otero, has been well received around the world and has gained high rank within the Metal world with many outstanding reviews on the effort. "The new material is in the same vein as PPP...999, but a bit more explosive and surprising, we've added some very interesting twists to the music and the concept, Pat is a cornucopia of Evil Music, regardless what has been said or stated in the past, he has always been the strong hold of the music and the life force of Satan's Host." The band also has a new DVD "Assault of Evil…666" slated for release April 13, 2010 via Moribund Cult Records which features the Great American Scapegoat tour '08. Bonus material includes performances from the last 2 decades, and the band's Samhain 09 show.
